Picton, a small historical gem of a town, located on Lake Ontario, in Prince Edward Country on the Isle of Quinte, was incorporated in 1837. Sir John A. MacDonald, Canada's first Prime Minister, grew up and practiced law in Picton.

Picton offers a rich variety of entertainment, recreation and excellent shopping opportunities. There is something of interest for all ages.
